Darrah Photo specializes in creating priceless, personal art for your home. We photograph people caught in everyday life moments, such as reading a book, snuggling with a child, lounging in a chaise, swinging on a swing, dancing, as well as capturing stunning classic portraits without the staged or dated scenes and toothy-big smiles expected in most photographic studios.

We begin each portrait assignment with a photographic session. For those who desire a truly unique art piece, we then hand-paint oil right on top of your canvas portrait. This ensures an exact rendering of your loved one, while giving you a one-of-a kind oil painting.

We will help you plan for your session by giving you clothing options, and including family heirlooms or special items you have in mind. Our sessions are relaxed and fun. We never schedule sessions back to back, so everyone present can take their time and enjoy the experience. We even plan for breaks to maintain a successful session.
