About Us

Welcome to Blue Ridge Community Theater! We are a community theater group located in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. Our mission is to enrich the cultural life of residents and visitors through performances, productions and education of all aspects of contemporary and classic theater. We are a non-profit organization under 501(C)(3).

The Blue Ridge Community Theater will be playing hard in 2008 with a newly announced and fabulous Main Stage season. We will have more than 25 weekends of performances next year featuring “Lend me a Tenor”, “The Foreigner”, “Our Town” and “Greetings!” Plus the Children’s Theater will be bringing “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “The Hobo and the Miracle” to the stage. Membership Information

Membership in the Blue Ridge Community Theater means that you are a full member of our theater family. The main focus of our membership is "Excellence on the Stage" both in our Main Stage Plays and in our Children's and Youth Workshops. Your dues financially support keeping the lights on (literally) and are the base of our operating budget. We are a fully volunteer organization and our members do our work. Children’s Theater

Sunny D Children’s Theater offers children ages 5 to 18 an opportunity for THEATER! And what an exciting time this is for us. Acting classes are scheduled for basic skills; monologue classes for small groups give kids the confidence to audition for a part in a play; play writing and commercial writing develop writing skills and kids learn to work behind the scenes in our tech classes.

Located in downtown Blue Ridge, our 132 seat theater that boasts "not a bad seat in the house" is close to fine dining, shopping and more.
